WRONG VENUE
"Dave Koz and Brian Culbertson were amazing, separately and together. The sound system was fabulous. I will follow their careers and purchase their CD's now that I have been introduced to them. Regarding 311, I knew two songs into their performance that this was not the 311 that I love. The Ironstone Vineyard venue was much too big for such a personal, intimate singer. They did what they do best--amazing jazz piano playing and wonderful interpretive singing with their fabulous voice. There were times when I could not hear the lyrics because the sound system did not seem to be set for their voice. Very unsatisfying and disappointing. That said, I would go see them in concert in a heartbeat in a venue more appropriate for an artist who plays the piano and sings. Ironstone Vineyards was the wrong choice. Sad for all of us who were looking forward to their performance."
